Hotel and per diem. We order eggs benny to the room, watch bad cable, read the morning newspaper, make coffee. Sometimes I'm struck by how attractive R is. Like, he has perfect incisors. Or the proportion of his chest to the line of his waist. Or his really beautiful hands. We could spend days in that room, a holiday in the middle of the city.
[Halloween. Costume. I've been thinking classics. Mummies. And have tickets to my favorite bar band ever, for my favorite holiday ever, at one of my favorite venues ever.]
Weekend. In another city. A surprise visit for a birthday, my most corporate friend, who used to love human rights and now kind of hates his job, already never sees his wife, and is aware that his $600 suit is not a $1500 suit on a daily basis. So we eat an overpriced breakfast and talk around the future.
I go hang out with my brother, who's kind of awesome, at the bachelor pad. We end up going to a snowboard video launch at a theatre, full of the opposite of everyone I was out with the night before. His roommates come with us, they give me the last beer in the fridge and have that kind of hospitality that breeds amongst lifties and instructors.
Overall. Good weekend. Now I'm going to catch Monday coffee with J, because this productivity thing is bananas.
