This week has been a gong show, mostly for reasons beyond my control, but somewhat for reasons within my control.
Butitsokaybecause:
(1) tomorrow is the weekend and hopefully there's no reason to come in to the office if everything goes somewhat okay in the next while
(2) I figure I'm about three weeks from normal life. As in, seeing my boyfriend and visiting friends and hopefully it will no longer be bitterly cold,
(3) I am moving away from this city forever in less than seven weeks
(4) what I'm working on has turned a corner in a good way
I feel like the whole world is abstract right now, really detached. In the same way the sunlight isn't really here, it can't really be felt by any of the senses; just blindingly refractory, light stripped down.
