How good this month looks on a calendar.
That R is getting here in an hour.
That it's not freezing out.
That the Marvelous M is getting married in three weeks and I'm spending four days with an assortment of people I love.
That one of my good friends from where I'm going is now managing a wicked (semi-famous) shop and has offered to hook me up with whatever I need.
That two of my friends are talking about joining me for parts of when I'm away. Because I'm going somewhere I've been before and will spend the first month in the country solo, getting acclimatized to being there again and getting back into the right state of mind, this might be very cool. And the first time in a long time I've taken a trip "with" anyone. If either of them show up, I'll probs end up doing slightly different things than I otherwise would, but in a good way.
