It's still really cold, and five days from the longest night of the year. On my walk home in 25 minutes, I'm stopping at the italian deli both for a sandwich and mid-point warming purposes.
In theory, living in an icy death zone for a few months of the year should up productivity. In reality, the dark hours this week have gone towards watching the entire first season of Maui Fever (including bonus episode dish sessions and deleted scenes) and sleeping. I suspect this is why there are a lack of Nobel Laureates in this time zone.
