A project I thought was an exercise is apparently now important and I apparently have to make it not suck. So that's what I'm doing this week, along with sitting in on a variety of meetings as training. I've been getting feedback that I don't suck, so there's hope.

Am wearing out my yoga mat. Seriously.

Today I realized I have news fatigue. I don't want to read the following: G8, Obama, Iraq, Khadr, China, Sudan, sub prime loan, gas prices, food prices. It's not that I don't care, it's that I don't want to not care and skim headlines about world news with the same detached apathy I skim headlines about tech stocks.

So I think I'm going to take a break from: News. Facebook. Email. A paper on Saturday, that's it. Oh, and this too, because the burning turmoil of my young soul has calmed to a pina colada lawn chair kind of hush, and this is a slow news month.
