Looking for housing online is about as exciting as looking for romance online. What begins as an efficient search with many options has the potential to turn into an expensive process that leaves you questioning if you wouldn't be better off living alone in a tent in a city park.

I think I might be happy living in non-traditional housing, just somewhere to crash, but I'm not sure how to arrange that. Where do seniors and crunchy hippies advertise for roommates? I used to read this blog by this guy who shared an apartment with a constantly changing group of people who paid virtually nothing and basically just had a room and access to a kitchen and bathroom. Home gone hostel. I could deal with that if it meant living for like $200 a month. I'm practically living like that right now, fine tuning being a nomad. Give me a mattress and half a closet!

Springhas turned into dumping snow in a matter of minutes.
