I had to give myself a time out because I've temporarily misplaced (or lost, permanently) three fairly critical cards that are both inconvenient and somewhat expensive to replace... so I have to make sure I've really lost them before damage control mode takes over.

Things I Don't Like, Vol II:
When people talk about how well they 'should have' or 'would have' done on anything. As the person who actually probably did as well as you thought you should have, I can tell you (a) no, you shouldn't or wouldn't have because I saw your work and (b) the reason that I do well is because I'm not self-delusional.

If all of your stories are about the one that got away, maybe you should learn to fish.

I'm having this hilariously angry day where I know my best (and only) option is to isolate myself from human interaction. It's not even 9 am. This could be a long day.
